However, when I try to change the product key I get the error 0xcf Fully updating the system or going through the store didn’t work either. For everyone else, Home is not a qualifying license. As the volume license is only an upgrade, and upgrade means from older Windows Pro to current Windows Pro, it does not apply to a Home installation and is useless here. You have to upgrade to Pro before you can apply a volume license. Unless, as I said above, you have Educational licensing. Then you can use it to Upgrade from Home.

Out of curiosity, why do you have ‘many’ Windows 10 VL keys? You would only buy more than one if you were upgrading from another OS 7 Pro, for instance and you would use each license when you did the upgrade.
It doesn’t make sense to have a bunch of extras. Or, I should say, I can’t think of a valid reason to have them. As for the situation, I’ve already refunded the item and purchased a system with 10 Pro already on it.
