As expected, the Bootcamp support software doesnt seem to work on this. It would be great if someone could give me some tip on how to install Bootcamp support software for 32 Bit Windows 7. Did the OP actually install Win 7 x32 and softwade it running or is just attempting to install it? If he windoww actually get it installed I’d try the Bootcamp 4. Worst case is he buys a new x64 version of Windows. Just my 2 cents. So I would certainly DL the Drivers and give it a go. My added 2 cents.

What kind of algorithm can OS X drivers use with MacBook Pros differently than with Windows drivers to consume less battery per unit of time?
They reduce the number of rpm in the fans or in the HD? They reduce the number of CPU cycles? They allocate memory differently? One thing I noticed though, on my iMac, the luminosity set to the minimum is definitely brighter in Windows than in OS X. I can barely keep my eyes open in front of Windows. The difference in battery life is because Windows in BootCamp always uses the discrete graphics card while in OSX you have the option of using the onboard which uses significantly less power.
If you use discrete in OSX the times are about the same. I thought this was well known? Pretty damn good battery life, about 6 hours 14 minutes is the last charge in Windows 7. Or run Windows in Parallels or other virtualization software. View in context. Along with iTunes the Apple Software Update will also be installed.
I’m pretty sure it will update BootCamp 4. If it doesn’t update BootCamp 4.

Apple updated BootCamp 4 with additional drivers on newer releases of Boot Camp 4 that Apple Software Update on the Windows side automatically updated to the most current version version of BootCamp 4 Download and give it a try.. Worst case is he buys a new x64 version of Windows. Just my 2 cents. So I would certainly DL the Drivers and give it a go. My added 2 cents. Now obviously a hackintosh isn’t an Apple computer, but it does seem to indicate that Apple does have a number of optimizations with their laptops larger battery capacity being one of them. Whereas Microsoft, with Windows, really has no control over any hardware This new, well newer, one’s battery lasted upto about a year before requiring an exchange.
Apple claims their batteries can withstand a lot more wear. Drivers also play a role in battery performance since you would expect a hackintosh of similar specs as a macbook to get similar battery life..

Laptops I can see not having huge multiple hard drives and limited smaller drives and drive space. No PC vendor would ever do it this way. They include a CD like Apple with any new motherboard with Windows support software.

It is not downloadable, it’s on your disc and if you lost your disc you’ll need to buy another. We like you but here to tell you what we know that works or not, that’s all. A spare DVD isn’t all bad either. I have Windows drive with any installers and updates. No OS Switcher in Windows. Trouble with internet and wireless is perhaps the hardest. Getting video graphic device enabled, a bummer.
